After such a big effort in the first game of the tournament against Greenwich, it was understandable that we might let up a little. We did. Fortunately, we were still able to contain Rumsey, pass a lot, and put a few goals in the net. Rumsey will be a team with whom we will have to reckon in the future. It was obvious that many of their younger players will be major factors in coming years. It was great that we were able to pass so much, a skill that has been lacking in many previous games. Hopefully, we will be able to capitalize on what we did well, and put it to good use in coming games. New Canaan will give us another good test tomorrow morning. Be ready, they want to win as much as you do.
