Well,
we came through -- with a bench of four. This was a nice win. Although
we weren't presented with overwhelming obstacles, Caravel did have
some fine players. We forechecked well, keeping the puck in our OZone
for much of the game -- critical, because of the absence of a considerable
part of our team. I was especially pleased that so many other players
'stepped to the plate'. We were able to secure our second shutout
of the season and we witnessed what was, perhaps, the most athletic
goal of the season by an individual. It is important that all understand
that in the absence of critical players, everyone can elevate their
own game. And.....WE DID! We passed more, we moved more, we attacked
the net more, we shot more, and we scored more. Good game!
