After
what was arguably our worst period as a team, the first, we played
a mediocre second, and a great third. It was enough for a good win.
We tied Shanahan earlier in the year, allowing them to score late
in the game. We didn't this time around. We absorbed a lot of hits,
took almost no penalties, and passed around the hits in the third.
An observation.....When it seems that you don't care who scores, everyone
seems to score.....the team does well. Rocket science, Brain surgery?
Hardly! As I've said on many occasions, "Work to make your teammate
look good..... and you'll look good." We recorded almost no passes
in the first period.....that was the one with no scoring. Remember?
We had a few more in the second, and almost all of our passes were
recorded in the third.....the same period we did most of our scoring.
One more game.....at home.....How do you want to be remembered? Think
about it!

Nobody
wants to be mediocre in life. The mediocre are the top of the bottom,
or the best of the worst, or the bottom of the top, or the worst of
the best.-- Lou

When
I'm on the ice, I look for openings. That's what the game is all about.....Maybe
I react to openings quicker than other players, I don't know for sure.
But when I see something that looks open to me, I go. See you later.-- Bobby
