With only a bench of three
players, and playing at an unusual time for us, we played an
extremely unselfish game. It was so great to see our more experienced
players work to get teammates goals. I was especially happy
too, with the number of passes we made. Your drop passes, picks
and movement to the net was greatly improved. Looking ahead
a little bit to our Finnish trip, I hope we'll be able to continue
to work to do the same types of things against stronger competition.
Remember: "If you work to make your teammates look good,
you'll look good." I am really pleased that we've made
a real conscientious effort to not let our tournament disappointment
get to us. We've dealt with a lot this year; I'm proud of the
way you've all handled everything. ... Onward ... and, Upward!
