We're playing the same tune over and over; we were shorthanded again. With only a bench of two, it is exceptionally difficult to play high school aged players. While I will do little to take away from those who were there to 'duke it out', it is still my opinion that we could have put on just a little bit better show. We had no defensemen and we were tired, but we really didn't play very smart. When we get physically tired, we must be mentally stronger. We went over and worked on ways to hold the scoring down, but didn't do a good job executing. As I said in the locker room, "If that was your best effort, I'll be happy." We have a big game Saturday. I hope we have a few more players. Winning Saturday, gives us a winning season which, in my mind, is quite an accomplishment given everything we've gone through this season. Play Hard.
