State television still puts out a parsimonious one original version midnight movie a week (Sundays, on RAI 3). Since April Tele+1, a pay-TV movie channel, has been offering the option on half a dozen films a month of switching from the dubbed to the original version - with the avowed aim of both giving a more authentic experience and attracting language learners. An English language version with English subtitles is also available.
When learning with dubbed movies, the best approach may vary depending on your level. Try watching both ways and see what you find most helpful and most comfortable. Regardless of your level, one helpful approach can be to use the subtitles in English or Italian to get the general gist of the scene, then to play it again while focusing on listening to the actual language being used.

The Spaghetti Westerns were considered, but to be honest, most of the greats in that genre are English-language, and after their shooting they are dubbed in Italian. Still, some of them were considered. and at least one of them is mentioned in the short list below. Only ITALIAN-SPOKEN movies are featured!
In 2010, the anime began airing on Italian television once more, first on the pay channel Hiro on March 1 and then on Italia 1 on August 23. This new edition, including all the seasons, movies, and specials, retained the Mediaset dub and opening songs, but had uncensored video (the deleted scenes of the previous version were dubbed by the same cast). The entire anime was then re-aired in 2014 - 2015 and 2016 - 2017 in the morning on Italia 1. Episodes from the first season were also aired on Boing at 3:00 pm Monday through Friday in October 2011, but the broadcast stopped after only two weeks due to low ratings. The anime aired once again on Boing from September 1 to December 20, 2014. The broadcast time was usually Monday to Saturday at 10:30 pm, with only one episode showing on weekdays and two on Saturdays. Only the first two seasons were aired, ending with episode 87.
I'm afraid there is no \"single original language\". Actors performed using each one their own original language and then the movie was dubbed in the countries as necessary: in Italy, the English and Spanish actors, in the U.S. the Spanish actors and so on. Not even in the Italian version the lips are always synced so it's the same situation for everyone.
Every Italian movie in those years was dubbed: it was difficult to catch up the sounds and the voices with contemporary tecniques and directors cared more about the movies itself than the actors' voices. Each actor performed using his own voice and language and the movies were then dubbed (and not always synced). 1e1e36bf2d
